Description
The Lead Snowmaker reports to the Grooming/Snowmaking Supervisor and oversees daily snowmaking operations, staff training, scheduling, compliance, equipment maintenance, records, and coordination with other mountain departments. The role is full-time and seasonal, working 7 of 14 days over a two-week period from October through mid-February, with a 4-on-3-off or 3-on-4-off schedule and 12-hour shifts. It requires prior snowmaking and ski-industry risk-management experience, mechanical aptitude, snowmaking equipment knowledge, training ability, Alberta Intermediate First Aid certification, and a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license.
