OpenText is hiring a Principal Software Developer to define and own the architecture for decomposing a monolithic .NET application into containerized microservices on Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform. The role leads the migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET 8+, establishes service boundaries, APIs, observability, security, and CI/CD standards, and mentors senior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least 8 years of enterprise product development or architecture experience, and expert knowledge of C#, .NET, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, messaging, and API design.
