STR is hiring a full-time Lead Software Developer in the Boston area to design, implement, and test embedded systems software for advanced real-time signal processing applications supporting sonar, radar, electronic warfare, and related sensing technologies. The role involves capability analysis, software development with GNU/Linux toolchains, firmware and embedded programming, and potential travel to customer meetings, data collections, and experiments. Candidates need a relevant advanced degree, 5–7+ years of experience, C/C++ or similar real-time embedded programming skills, and eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.
