PitchBook is hiring a Lead Software Development Engineer for its Frontier Data Platform team. The role is a hands-on senior technical leader and individual contributor who designs, builds, and owns backend systems that ingest, correlate, enrich, and surface billions of records. Responsibilities include leading a small engineering team, writing production code, leading system design, managing technical quality and infrastructure, mentoring engineers, and owning feature and release delivery. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, at least seven years of backend software engineering experience in Java, five or more years of cloud infrastructure experience, and onsite work in the Seattle office five days per week.
