McKesson is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Ontada technology division to provide technical leadership and architecture guidance across the iKnowMed G2 platform and related oncology-care solutions. The role owns solution and platform architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based systems, enterprise integrations, AI/ML, NLP, and RAG capabilities, while partnering with technology, product, security, and business stakeholders. It requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in architecture and technical leadership, along with expertise in Java, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, DevSecOps, and enterprise systems. The position offers a hybrid arrangement for candidates in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and a base pay range of $163,100 to $271,800.
