Moon is hiring a Lead Software Engineer, 3D Platform to own the architecture, technical strategy, and engineering roadmap of its real-time 3D design and configuration platform. The role leads and develops an engineering team, builds parametric product configuration and CAD-like spatial design tools, optimizes Three.js, React Three Fiber, WebGL, and WebGPU performance on tablets, and improves an existing codebase. It requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, deep production experience with Three.js and WebGL, and expertise in browser-based graphics, parametric modeling, and high-performance 3D applications.
