Cadence is hiring an R&D Software Engineer to develop and enhance circuit simulation technologies, including SpectreFX, FastSPICE, and mixed-signal simulation. The role involves collaborating with global engineering teams, analyzing product and customer issues, and proposing implementation plans. Candidates need strong C/C++ development skills in a Unix/Linux environment, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization, and preferably circuit simulation or EDA experience.
