Citi is hiring a Senior Java Engineer for its Futures Technology team to architect, design, and implement high-performance Java microservices for a post-trade orders and executions application. The role focuses on low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems, complex data processing, system resiliency, production support, and mentorship, using technologies including Java 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD tools. Candidates need at least eight years of hands-on software architecture and development experience, strong Java and distributed-systems expertise, database and messaging knowledge, and experience in an Agile environment. The position is full time and offers a salary range of $120,800 to $170,800.
