Description
Couchbase is hiring a Lead Software Engineer - Storage to enhance the highly scalable and performant storage engines used by Couchbase Server and Couchbase Capella. The role focuses on developing highly available, concurrent enterprise-grade system software, designing storage-engine features, contributing to product requirements and architecture, and improving performance and reliability. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent, at least five years of experience building enterprise infrastructure or systems software, proficiency in C++, Golang, or Java, and experience with concurrent programming, operating systems, data structures, Linux I/O, database internals, and performance debugging.
