easyJet is hiring a full-time Lead Software Engineer in Luton on a hybrid basis, with 60% of the time spent in the office. The role combines hands-on production software development with technical leadership of a small squad, including architecture and delivery decisions, coaching up to four engineers, maintaining engineering standards, improving CI/CD and observability, and exploring AI-assisted engineering tools. Candidates should have strong software engineering experience, production-system delivery experience, Java and AWS expertise, microservices and distributed-systems knowledge, and experience mentoring engineers.
