Fundrise is hiring a fully remote Lead Software Engineer to manage and mentor a team within its API Engineering group. The role owns the delivery, quality, architecture, security, monitoring, and deployment of services powering authentication, investing, account management, and other core investor-application functionality. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, deep Java and Spring expertise, 3+ years leading engineers, and 4+ years building production applications on AWS. The role is remote-first for United States residents, with Washington, D.C. metro-area candidates strongly preferred.
