Mastercard is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for architecting and building highly available, large-scale marketing platforms. The role leads UI, full-stack, and data engineering teams; designs REST APIs and cloud-native solutions; integrates backend data services with user interfaces; and drives engineering quality, automation, observability, reliability, performance, and cloud transformation initiatives. The position requires hands-on Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, React or Angular, GraphQL, Databricks, AWS, Spark, Hadoop, real-time data processing, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and GenAI/AI-assisted development experience.
