Description
Mastercard is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to own complex, cross-service problems, design and develop scalable applications and services, automate software delivery, introduce new technologies and architectures, and provide development and architecture guidance to team members. The role requires hands-on Java and Spring experience, AI-based development, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, messaging systems such as Kafka, secure coding, API standards, distributed-systems troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and strong mentoring and cross-functional collaboration skills.
