Description
The Lead Software Engineer will plan, design, develop, test, maintain, and deploy software solutions for MasterCard’s credit card authorization and CORE product development teams. The role owns the full systems development lifecycle, technical artifacts, production incident management, on-call support, technology evaluation, proof-of-concept participation, and process improvement. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, strong software design and testing knowledge, Java and microservices expertise, event-driven application development, relational-database and SQL skills, and experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, configuration management, Maven, Jenkins, and XML.
