Description

Sony Music Entertainment is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its London office to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and modernization of scalable B2B2C platforms supporting music business capabilities. The role focuses on distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, microservices, cloud services, reliability, observability, technical debt reduction, and production troubleshooting, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, operations, and business stakeholders. The position requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, databases, AWS, testing, and Agile development, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote.
