Grab is hiring an onsite Lead Engineer for its Lending team in Singapore. The role leads the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, including databases, caches, NoSQL, web and application servers, while collaborating with product, business, programme management, SRE, and DevOps teams. Responsibilities include proposing technical improvements, participating in reviews, delivering reliable code, managing infrastructure, participating in on-call rotation, and leading projects. The position requires 10 years of relevant experience, lending-domain experience, Golang proficiency, distributed-systems knowledge, OLTP and performance expertise, and experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
