Description
Grab is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, operate, and improve scalable backend services and platform components for APIs used by mobile and web applications. The role involves translating product requirements into technical solutions, maintaining code quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving reliability through monitoring and incident response, and mentoring engineers. The position requires a degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 7 years of software development experience, Go proficiency, backend microservices experience, and familiarity with databases, container orchestration, service mesh, observability, and CI/CD. The engineer will report to an engineering manager based in Singapore and work onsite in Singapore.
