Description
Grab is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, build, operate, and improve scalable backend systems and platform components for products used by millions of users across Southeast Asia. The role owns complex technical problems, drives architecture and code quality, partners with product and engineering teams, handles production incidents, and mentors engineers. It requires a degree or equivalent practical experience, at least six years of software engineering experience including production backend development, proficiency in Go or a similar language, distributed systems experience, database and caching expertise, and strong English communication skills. The position is based in Grab's Jakarta office.
