Description
Grab is hiring an experienced Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical backend systems for its Fulfillment technology family. The role involves architecting scalable systems, mentoring engineers, making technical decisions, optimizing reliability and performance, collaborating with cross-functional and DevOps teams, and establishing engineering standards. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years of software engineering experience including 5 years focused on scalable systems, backend programming expertise, microservices and API knowledge, and leadership experience. The position is onsite in Grab's Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.
