Description
Grab is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Consumer Experience Engineering team in Jakarta. The role owns a broad range of product and platform problems, including front-end development, database design, APIs, data visualization, CI/CD, Go-based service development, performance tuning, architecture, and large-scale system design. The engineer will collaborate with product, experience, infrastructure, and other engineering teams, participate in on-call rotation, and provide technical guidance and mentorship. The position requires a degree in a relevant field, at least five years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, computer science fundamentals, system performance and scaling knowledge, and willingness to work with Golang. The role is onsite in Jakarta and reports to an Engineering Manager II.
