Description
L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Software Engineer (Backend/Integration) to provide technical leadership and support mission modernization, software integration, and mission-system reliability improvements at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, Florida. The role involves developing secure backend services, applying software engineering best practices, deploying and maintaining AWS applications, supporting Agile teams, preparing technical designs and documentation, and building mission applications in classified or high-security environments. The position requires an active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and at least 9 years of prior relevant experience; the schedule is 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.
