Description

JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to enhance, build, and deliver technology products for its Equities Broker Dealer and Prime Finance platforms. The role focuses on distributed systems and microservices, secure production code, architectural design, SDLC delivery, operational stability, and integrating AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into enterprise platforms. The engineer will also lead the adoption of approved AI-assisted development practices and collaborate with business, product, operations, and engineering teams.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in large-scale enterprise environments
Experience integrating AI/ML and GenAI into enterprise applications
Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools
Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex enterprise organizations
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud-native development with AWS or equivalent
Exposure to Prime Finance, Securities Lending, or Broker Dealer platforms
Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, MQ, and messaging systems
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, including React and UI frameworks
Exposure to domain-driven design, full-stack development, and modern architectural patterns
