The Lead Software Engineer (Java Backend Developer) will contribute to the planning, design, and development of microservices and full-stack applications and services using Java and Kubernetes/PCF. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, secure, scalable software, participating in code reviews and pull requests, collaborating with engineers and product teams, and applying 12-factor application design and Mastercard engineering governance. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, computer science fundamentals, web and Java experience, PostgreSQL or Oracle experience, automated testing and continuous delivery exposure, and strong communication and leadership skills.
