JPMorganChase is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Consumer & Community Banking team. The role leads technical guidance and decision-making, develops and reviews secure production code, promotes enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices, and serves as a subject-matter expert across system design, application development, testing, and production support. Required qualifications include formal software engineering training or certification, at least five years of applied experience, Java and Spring Boot expertise, experience with approved AI-assisted development tools, responsible AI practices, and experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems. Exposure to agentic AI is preferred.
