Mastercard is hiring a Lead Software Engineer - Java/Python/Go to lead the modernization of fraud rules and fraud-engine platforms, including large-scale migrations. The role involves cross-functional technical leadership, architectural design, project scoping and planning, engineering excellence, mentoring, and delivery of scalable, secure, high-throughput, low-latency systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or extensive experience, at least 8 years of software and microservices architecture experience, expertise in Java, Python, and Go, and familiarity with fraud-engine technologies, databases, distributed systems, security, and performance tuning.
