Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Lead Software Engineer - L2/L3 Protocol Testing to lead test strategy, automation, and quality improvements for complex networking software and platforms. The role covers functional, scale, performance, resiliency, interoperability, upgrade, and negative testing; Python-based automation frameworks; regression and release validation pipelines; customer escalation and defect investigation; and mentoring engineers. Candidates need strong network software testing and Python automation experience, deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking technologies, traffic-generation tool experience, and typically 12+ years of relevant experience.
