Arista Networks is hiring a Senior/Lead PFE software engineer to design and build packet forwarding features in EOS, collaborate with customers and product management, architect and develop features in C, C++, and Python, build automated tests, provide technical leadership, troubleshoot customer and system-test issues, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a relevant computer science or engineering degree plus 3–6 years of experience, expert knowledge of C or C++ and Python, UNIX or Linux knowledge, packet forwarding chip and pipeline experience, and strong software engineering, problem-solving, and communication skills.
