Description
Clarivate is hiring a permanent full-time Backend Engineer to architect and build highly available Python/FastAPI systems, including an MCP gateway that connects AI tools to Clarivate products. The role owns architecture decisions, deploys and troubleshoots services on AWS, uses AI tools in the workflow, reviews code, writes tests and documentation, and works in IST time zone for 45 hours per week. Candidates need at least six years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience, strong FastAPI experience, cloud and database experience, and the ability to architect scalable data models.
