Mastercard is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Cyber Security Services team to lead the development of high-performance Java applications, including backend and consumer-facing product functionality. The role involves direct software development, production support, feature planning, code reviews, and technical guidance to junior engineers. Required qualifications include Java SDK 1.8 or greater, SAFe/Agile processes, and experience with a broad Java technology stack including JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multi-threading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka, Spring, Eclipse or IntelliJ, cloud platforms such as PCF and Azure, and microservices architecture.
