Description
The Metadata and Reference Data Lead Specialist will strengthen Absa’s data governance capability by managing business glossaries, technical and business metadata, data lineage, reference data, data quality, data ownership, and governance standards. The role coordinates with data owners, stewards, technology, risk, compliance, finance, operations, and reporting teams; develops governance reporting and dashboards; supports audit and regulatory evidence; and drives improvements in metadata completeness, quality, consistency, and usability. A relevant diploma or degree and 5–8 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, reference data, data quality, business analysis, reporting, risk, or information management are required.
