Description
The Lead SQL Developer will provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineers and SQL developers while designing, building, and operating modern data pipelines and analytical platforms across Azure. The role includes establishing engineering standards, mentoring team members, optimizing Spark and SQL workloads, improving platform reliability and observability, and supporting operational troubleshooting. Candidates need at least six years of data development experience, two years leading or mentoring technical teams, hands-on Azure experience, PySpark and Delta Lake expertise, strong T-SQL and relational database design skills, and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and hybrid environments.
