Description
The Lead Direct Support Professional supports the House Manager in providing safe, supportive, and therapeutic care to individuals served, while mentoring and training other Direct Support Professionals. The role includes individualized support, medication administration and charting, Individualized Support Plan participation, documentation, scheduling, household and meal support, safety checks, emergency reporting, and attendance at training and meetings. Candidates need a high school education or equivalent, a Family Care Safety Registry screening, reliability, interpersonal skills, the ability to lift over 50 pounds, a valid Class E driving license, and the ability to complete required certifications within 90 days; Lead DSPs must also have significant experience.
