Description
The Certified Registered Central Service Technician assists a supervisor with workflow planning, staff direction, employee orientation, technical area duties, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. The role requires an 18-year-old or older applicant, a high school diploma or GED, leadership skills, proficiency in area work tasks, strong communication skills, and English proficiency. Physical duties include rare 50-pound push or pull, lifting, repetitive movement, standing, frequent rotation, answering calls, receiving stock, assembling parts, cleaning, and testing sterilizers and disinfectors. HSPA CRCST certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire, with Mayo Clinic providing training, reimbursement for testing fees, and eligibility after 400 hours of hands-on experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.
