Description
WSP is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer - Bridges for its Northern New England Transportation Group in Merrimack, New Hampshire or Eliot, Maine. The role performs professional structural analysis and design of transportation structures, including bridges and retaining walls, across concept, preliminary, final, procurement, and construction phases. Responsibilities include designing and checking superstructure and substructure elements, preparing plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, technical reports, and presentations, coordinating with clients and other disciplines, maintaining quality control, and mentoring entry-level engineers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering, at least seven years of relevant post-education experience, and registration as a professional engineer in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine, with occasional travel and project-specific schedules.
