HR Green is hiring a Lead Structural Engineer to serve as a regional technical expert in its Transportation practice across Illinois offices in Aurora, McHenry, New Lenox, or Peoria. The role leads bridge and other transportation-structure design, assessment, rehabilitation, technical reporting, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and project proposals; mentors junior engineers and CAD staff; and may lead projects or contribute to business development. Candidates need a civil engineering bachelor's degree, 10 years of related experience, a Professional Engineering License, and a Licensed Structural Engineer designation, with Illinois bridge and federally funded project experience required.
