Description
L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Structural Engineer (Stress Engineer) for its Aeronautical Systems Engineering team in Greenville, Rockwall, or Plano, Texas, on an on-site 1st-shift 9/80 schedule. The role performs aircraft structural analysis using classical and finite element methods, develops free-body diagrams and margins of safety, supports airworthiness and engineering estimates, and leads a small team of stress engineers. Candidates must have substantial commercial fixed-wing transport fuselage structural analysis experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; preferred qualifications include NX and Teamcenter experience, VBA automation, and engineering leadership.
