Description
The Low-Voltage Cabling Technician installs, tests, documents, and certifies UTP, fiber-optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling; conducts site surveys; coordinates with project managers and engineers; and leads field installation crews. The role requires at least three years of low-voltage or telecommunications experience, LAN and backbone cabling knowledge, certification-tool proficiency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in varied field conditions. Compensation is $20-$28 per hour depending on knowledge, experience, and ability, with health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement matching, paid time off, and a possible company vehicle.
