WSP is hiring a Lead Substation Project Engineer for its Richmond, Virginia office to provide high-level technical guidance across the full lifecycle of utility, industrial, and commercial-scale electrical infrastructure projects. The role covers substation design, permitting, procurement, construction, safety, regulatory compliance, technical reporting, and coordination with owners, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory agencies. The engineer will also oversee cross-functional teams and lead junior engineers, with requirements including a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 7–10 years of relevant post-education experience, and a Professional Engineer license.
