Bright Silicon Technologies is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer in Pleasanton, California to own the architecture and system integration of next-generation Free-Space Optical flight terminals. The role translates mission requirements into flight-ready Pointing, Acquisition, and Tracking payloads; develops optical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical interface control documents; leads optomechanical integration and trade studies; and oversees environmental, dynamic, and optical verification testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant engineering or physics field, at least five years of precision optomechanical or airborne optical tracking experience, and U.S. Person status because the work involves CUI and ITAR-sensitive information.
