ABB is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer for its Energy Industries team to lead power system engineering solutions for excitation systems. The role covers advanced power system analysis, Grid Code Compliance studies, project design authority, installation and commissioning support, customer and stakeholder coordination, risk analysis, engineering changes, and mentoring engineering teams. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least five years of power system engineering experience, expertise in grid modelling and excitation systems, knowledge of synchronous machines and control theory, proficiency with power system simulation tools, and experience leading complex engineering projects.
