Grid Solutions is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to oversee and coordinate all systems engineering technical tasks for offshore HVDC projects in Europe, specifically focusing on Germany and the Netherlands. The role involves managing requirements analysis, verification, validation, and ensuring adherence to international standards like ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015. The successful candidate will contribute to driving large-scale projects aimed at integrating renewable energy into the grid.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: +5 years of experience in Systems Engineering
Have experience in the HVDC Power Transmission industry or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications: Have experience in establishing Systems Engineering processes such as Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation.
Have experience in a low Systems Engineering maturity environment.
Have experience working in a consortium project environment.
Have a strong understanding of dependability management and relevant industry standards.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, responsive and supervision skills.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to manage programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Fluent in English; additional language (any foreign Language) is a plus.
Proven technical leadership in a complex system engineering development environment.
Proactively serves on cross functional leadership teams; self-directed decision-making; Pulls in experts when needed.
Strong leadership, supportive and team coordination abilities to guide and mentor junior RMS engineers
