Description

L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Systems Engineer in Palm Bay, Florida, to lead the architecture and technical direction of mission-critical systems from concept through integration and validation. The role owns requirements traceability, system design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation, engineering artifacts, performance analysis, root-cause and corrective-action work, and cross-functional technical leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least seven years, or thirteen years of related experience in lieu of a degree, plus an active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph.

Ability to learn customer missions and develop CONOPS.
Experience with Digital Engineering or MBSE tools such as Cameo and SysML.
Familiarity with defense development lifecycles, milestone reviews, gated development, and INCOSE standards.
Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
Proficiency across mechanical, electrical, RF, software, and hardware engineering.
Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Background in Agile development and rapid mission onboarding.
Ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
