L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Lead, Systems Engineer – Mission Protection in Springfield, Virginia, on a 100% on-site, 5/8 Monday-Friday schedule. The role leads the contractor Mission Protection team and serves as the primary authority for protecting sensitive space and ground capabilities supporting U.S. Government operations. Responsibilities include threat assessment, vulnerability analysis, mitigation planning, threat modeling, risk management, counterintelligence and cyber defense, red/blue team assessments, tabletop exercises, and briefings for senior leadership. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least nine years of experience, an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI poly, and five years of experience in threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, risk management, and Weapons and Tactics support. The stated salary range is $127,500 to $236,500.
