L3Harris is hiring a Lead, Systems Engineering professional in Rochester, New York to develop, integrate, and test electro-optic systems for airborne and ground surveillance. The role covers system integration concepts, test planning, requirements evaluation, technical risk and supportability analysis, custom hardware and software test equipment, qualification programs, and coordination with operations and manufacturing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and at least nine years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and seven years, or thirteen years without a degree, and must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The schedule is 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off, and the New York salary range is $110,500 to $205,500.
