Description
Worcester Community Action Council is hiring a full-time Lead Teacher for its Early Head Start and Head Start programs. The role plans and implements developmentally appropriate early-childhood programs, supports families, supervises and trains classroom staff, and evaluates classroom personnel. The position is a school-year schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with possible evening hours and a job site that may change based on program needs. Requirements include a Department of Early Education and Care Lead Teacher license, a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or enrollment toward one, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and First Aid and CPR certification. The salary is $21-$25 per hour.
