Description
The Head Start Classroom Teacher implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum for eligible young children, ensures safe and quality program service, assesses and documents children’s learning, supports families, supervises classroom staff and volunteers, and contributes to program goals. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood education, or teaching with a ZS or ZA endorsement, a Family Service Credential within 18 months, annual training, and the ability to work cooperatively, lead, present to community groups, and use computer skills. The position pays $42,898.48 per year and is full-time.
