Description
The Lead Teacher plans and implements daily preschool curriculum, individualizes activities for children and families, prepares classroom materials, conducts screenings and assessments, supports children’s routines and self-help skills, trains and directs staff and volunteers, communicates with parents, and maintains program and child records. The role requires an Associate Teacher Permit on the Child Development Matrix, at least 12 core ECE/CD units with three units in Infant/Toddler Development or Curriculum, and at least one year of preschool teaching experience. The position also requires health screening, first aid and CPR certification, health and safety training, and criminal record clearance.
