Description
Save the Children is hiring a Center Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Head Start or Early Head Start center or cluster of centers. The role supervises teachers and other staff, provides classroom coverage, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, supports child development and family engagement, manages safety and documentation, and coordinates with the Education Manager and other program teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or a related field, at least two years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Head Start performance standards and early childhood education. The base salary starts at $53,770, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
