Description
The Lead Teacher directs a classroom of YMCA youth, creates and promotes positive classroom relationships, leads age-appropriate developmental programming, observes and evaluates children, maintains records, communicates with families, and supports program activities. The role requires prior experience working with children in a developmental, diverse setting, an Early Childhood Education Certificate within five years of hire, and completion of specified health, safety, and background checks. The position pays $18.35 per hour and includes medical and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, and other benefits.
