Description
The Lead Teacher directs a classroom of YMCA youth, creates and leads age-appropriate programs, builds relationships with children and families, monitors individual progress, maintains records and classroom conditions, and participates in family and staff activities. The role requires prior experience working with children in a developmental, diverse setting, an Early Childhood Education Certificate within five years of hire, and completion of specified health, safety, and background checks. Starting pay is $18.35 per hour, with medical and dental insurance and other benefits.
